Yahshua Ha'Mashiach

LISTEN!!!

Revelation 22:7

Sword of the Spirit

Matthew 18:20

Ezekiel 37:15-17

I made the above picture to give everyone a visual of what is occurring in our country right now because it is no coincidence that the "Bible Belt" is the location of the most severe and exceptional drought in our nation.

As I stated in my previous article, "Is this a Curiosity???", I know that Abba, Our Heavenly Father, is trying to tell us that we, the church, need to repent. How do I know this to be a fact? Because He tells us:

18 And if in spite of all this
you still will not listen and be obedient to Me,
then I will chastise and discipline you
seven times more for your sins.
19 And I will break and humble your pride in your power,
and I will make your heavens as iron
[yielding no answer, no blessing, no rain]
and your earth [as sterile] as brass.
Leviticus 26:19
Amplified Bible (AMP)

It is rather obvious from the picture that we are in a severe drought in the Bible Belt so Abba Yah has definetly acted on this warning He gives us in Leviticus. He warned us that this would be the discipline that we would receive for our sins of not listening to and obeying Him.

Yahshua the Servant Candle within His Lamps

Yahshua Ha'Mashiach

Now I know that most of you will be thinking that this isn't possible because the church has received forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ (Yahshua Ha'Mashiach)... That since we are Believers in Yahshua, that Abba wouldn't do this to us! But, if that is true, then why do we have such severe drought in the Bible Belt exclusively? The only possible answer is that we, the church as a whole, have committed the sins of not listening to and obeying what He has said!

So, now we need to figure out what we have not heard and obeyed so we can repent! But, where do we start looking??? Well, since the above scripture comes from Leviticus 26:19, maybe we should go back to the beginning of that passage and see what it says. Afterall, we do want to stay in context, don't we?

1 YOU SHALL make for yourselves no idols
nor shall you erect a graven image, pillar, or obelisk,
nor shall you place any figured stone in your land to which or on which to bow down;
for I am the Lord your God.
2 You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary. I am the Lord.
3 If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments and do them,
4 I will give you rain in due season,
and the land shall yield her increase
and the trees of the field yield their fruit.
Leviticus 26:1-4
Amplified Bible (AMP)

Hmmm... This passage tells us that:

1. We are not to make idols and worship them
2. We are to keep His Sabbaths
3. We are to reverence His sanctuary
4. We will have rain and the land and trees will produce only if:
a. We walk in His statutes
b. We keep His commandments and do them

I bet you are saying, "But the church does all that!" But, you would be WRONG.

How many of you consider watching sports, watching tv, playing video games, your job, your family, or anything else more important than reading your Bible, praying and trying to please Him? Anything, and I mean anything, that you give more attention to, making it more important than God, is an idol!

Secondly, you need to notice that the word in verse 2 is Sabbaths - plural. Also, it says My Sabbaths meaning His sabbaths. I challenge you to tell me the scriptures where He says to keep His Sabbath on Sunday, Christmas and Easter. He NEVER said that anywhere in the entire Bible! Go to BibleGateway.com and put the word "sabbath" into the keyword search. Do this research for yourself and you will see that what I am saying is true.

Thirdly, this passage of scripture tells us that we need to reverance His Sanctuary which is our physical bodies1 . According to Merriam Webster's Dictionary, "reverence" means to "honor or respect felt or shown : deference; especially : profound adoring awed respect"2 . Do you really revere the gift of your body? Do you even know how?

Fourthly, we are told that only by walking in His Statutes and obeying His commandments will we have rain and productive crops. Does the church do that? Does the church even know what His statutes and commandments are? Obviously not as the Bible Belt is having such extreme drought that farmers are being forced to slaughter their cattle since they can't afford to feed them!3

I know that this all sounds very harsh and I am sorry if you are offended at what I am saying. But, please listen to me... It is not my intention to offend but rather wake you up!!! You can not hear what Abba is trying to tell you if you are asleep. The church needs to wake up and listen to what He is telling us. He is trying so hard to get our attention and things will only get worse if we do not begin listening!

If you are now awake and ready to find out what Abba, our Heavenly Father, is wanting us to do, then please read the next article in this series, Turning Back Before its Too Late .
